Also, Dr. Milka Potrebić and Prof. Dr. Dejan Tošić, from the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering spoke about potential applications of memristors.

Poster session at ПЕС 2017 conference

ПЕС 2017 participants enjoyed warm hospitality at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and in the host town of Niš, and shared very friendly atmosphere, not only during ПЕС Conference sessions, but also after the sessions at social program events. Niš is the birth place of the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great, who legalized Christianity in the whole Roman Empire at the year of 313 by Milan Edict. Remains of Constantine’s residence are at the place of Mediana near the city. ПЕС participants also visited the unique Scull-Tower.

Visit to the Felix Romuliana – UNESCO world heritage site as a part of social events

After the conference working days, ПЕС participants visited the hydropower plant “Gamzigrad”, UNESCO world heritage site – Felix Romuliana and the Regional museum of Knjaževac with the collection of double-knit socks from 18th to the 20th century, which presents a unique collection in the world.

ПЕС 2017 participants visited “Gamzigrad”, one of the oldest hydroelectric power plants in Serbia.

ПЕС participants and IEEE EMC Society members attending ПЕС 2017 used this opportunity to build on existing projects and partnerships, and to start the new ones. In that way ПЕС achieved its goal, and made benefit not only to the universities and institutions, but to scientific society as well. This conference might not be among the greatest and most famous, but is still growing every second year, and conference papers and scientific contributions progress in their quality. You may also enjoy in the events during this conference, warm and sunny September in Niš, nice foods and national dances. Grateful to the participants and guests for their contributions and efforts to come this year, ПЕС Organizing Committee invites you also to join us for the next ПЕС Conference in 2019!
